ALDS’ strategic partnerships with Panhard General Defense, Paramount Group and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann leverage their strengths to offer our customers a superior choice of products and defence solutions.

Panhard General Defense, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Auverland since early 2005, has been designing and developing armoured vehicles for nearly a century. In particular, Panhard produces the VBL light armoured vehicle and has already delivered more than 2,000 VBLs to fifteen countries, including 1,600 for the French army. It also makes the PVP, more than 750 of which are in service. ALDS and Panhard have co-operated in developing light tactical vehicles.
 

Paramount is one of South Africa's leading defence systems contractors, providing defence, peace-keeping and internal security solutions to government agencies worldwide. ALDS and Paramount Group are jointly working on designing and developing Mine Protected Vehicles (MPV).



Krauss-Maffei Wegmann GmbH & Co. KG leads the European market for armoured wheeled and tracked vehicles. At locations in Germany, Greece, the Netherlands and the USA, over 3500 employees develop, manufacture and support a superior product portfolio. The armed forces of over 30 nations worldwide rely on tactical systems made by KMW. ALDS and KMW have recently signed an MoU to jointly develop advanced defence systems, such as artillery, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured wheeled vehicles and more for the national and international markets.



Ashok Leyland Defence Systems has partnered with Defiance to offer a modular and scalable Fleet Management System and customised Fleet Management Solution to its customers. Defiance Technologies, a Hinduja Group Company, is a leading provider of Engineering, ERP and IT services to global customers leveraging the Global Delivery Model. The ALDS Fleet Management System, provided by Defiance, is available as a standard package on the Stallion range to ensure increased operational efficiency and uptime for fleets. ALDS and Defiance also offer an extended Telematics-based Fleet Management Solution.
